Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is the most important holiday in the Chinese calendar. The 2020 Year of the Rat will begin on 25 January and will last for around 15 days, ending on 8 February. In China, the occasion is a public holiday and people usually enjoy a whole week to celebrate.

This year, we celebrated this festivity with beautiful dances as well as making art and crafts.  Prep classes also prepared a short skit about The Great Race: The Origin of The Animal Zodiac. This year 2020 marks the year of the Metal Rat with the last being in 1960.
