A mother’s love bears strength, comfort, healing, and warmth.

On the 10th of May, Lollypop Preschool held their Mother’s Day Celebration. This is to express children’s love to their moms and to create a stronger bond between them. On this day, the children prepared special activities that they could do together with their moms.

The event started at 08.30 at the back terrace with a special performance from Pre-Nursery classes. They danced to the tune of ‘Baby Shark’ to their moms’ delight. It was followed by another dance performance, but this time, mommies were invited to join their children.

Toddler students then had a fashion show with their mothers in their twinning attire. Both mom and child looked great as they walked in front of the audience. After the short activity at the back terrace, Toddler and Pre-Nursery classes went back to their respective classrooms to have their classroom art and craft activities with their moms. The mothers enjoyed spending the day with their children in the class.

The Nursery, Kindergarten and Preparatory classes arranged special art and craft activities in the classroom to work on with their moms as well. Some made necklaces, hair clips and photo frames out of recycled materials with their moms in the class. They built a stronger bond with their moms while doing these simple things together. It was really a time well-spent. Although it was a simple celebration, it was an opportunity to create a special memory for both the children and their moms. Let us not forget the daddies and grandparents who came to celebrate with us that day, thank you. To all the mothers, Happy Mother’s Day!
